April sees the Honolulu Academy of Arts celebrating the birthday of one of its past patrons, writer Clare Boothe Luce.

In celebration, the Academy is giving away a copy of Clare: The Honolulu Years by David Eyre to anyone whose first or middle name is Clare/Claire.

The catch? You’ve got to present an ID at the Academy Shop to claim it, or pay $10.50 to have it shipped to you. They can explain it to you via email at academyshop@honoluluacademy.org or phone at 808-532-8704.

You might want to read my review of the book, published late 2007, before you decide.
