Though I often read with a flashlight after lights out and made up fictional stories in my spare time, I didn’t have a creative writing class until college and never did I think about getting published. But now Launchpad Magazine out of Louisiana is offering youths age 6-12 to submit original writing and illustration for their bi-monthly publication. Many of you out there may have young ones around who could benefit from this kind of outlet, encouragement and motivation, so I’m posting the call for submissions here.
